Went to the Penang CNY Cultural & Heritage Celebration yesterday with Apple and Dingo.
It was our first time there! :O
Apparently it is an annual event and is held at the Penang’s UNESCO World Heritage Site a.k.a. Georgetown.
There were already loads of people thronging the streets as early as 4pm.

We were walking and walking and walking and suddenly Dingo told me he saw a stall selling really cute stuff. I was suspicious at first (thinking that it might be frogs WTF) but then I saw these!

HAHAHA omg beautifully decorated (and edible!!) bananas. Lots of people were taking photos of them, but I didnt actually see people buying them. poor aunty :(
Had lok lok + char koay kak + sugarcane juice for dinner.
Oh you mighty lok lok. I don’t think i’d see you again after this week :O

I didn’t manage to get awesome shots that night. must be my slowly deteriorating photography skills. no thanks to the heavy camera. and the rain. and the heat. and the crowd.
